Pearla is a lifelong resident of our area. After working for Southeast Hospital for 40 years, 13 of these as the Hospice Volunteer Coordinator, she moved into part-time retail employment. In October 2018, Pearla took a fall that resulted in a brain bleed and a lengthy hospital stay. As she was on the road to recovery, she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. She is now undergoing chemotherapy that is scheduled to continue at least until Fall 2019. She was working part-time and did not have medical insurance. As you can imagine, her medical bills are already astounding with more to come. Support Pearla, by joining us for a benefit dinner and silent auction.
